Stand out by building a "Unique" profile

US admissions applications are more rigorous compared to other countries.

Admission officers are looking at students who show passion and excellence in their studies (rigour) at school and what they do outside of school (extra-curricular). How have you delved deeper into your passion at school and outside school in the community? How have you honed your skills to excel at what you do? Have you done intensive research or submitted a research paper in an area that you are passionate about? What sort of leadership roles have you taken up in your area's of interest?

This is where your "Unique Profile" comes in. However, The profile varies according to the interest of the young adult. Over time we discuss extracurricular activities, summer enrichment, internships etc.
